Democratic Underground does not exist to to provide a platform for our political opponents or their supporters, especially this close to an election. If our members want to listen to Republican spin, they can turn on the television. But they don't expect to see it on this message board.
If you support this ridiculous power-grab against the democratically elected Governor of California, then you should do all of us a favor and keep that particular opinion to yourself.
Even if you swear that you're going to vote against the recall, we still have no interest in hearing how you "admire" our opponents or how you feel "ashamed" about attacks against them.
The moderators have the authority to keep DU free from right-wing spin this close to an election.

ballot? Got off your ass and go get the signatures to do so. Why put off on the governor, something that is contrary to federal law and is not a priorityfor the vast amjority of voters? The state should not have to pay for your whim. If the voters approve of legalizing it and wish to pay for the court costs and federal challenges then that is another thing, given that it is still a scheduled substance according to the federal government.

Not the point of my post. I am saying that Gray should have sought some creative ideas and stuck hard to core progressive beliefs to show that he is dedicated in order to impress people, not tell them how much the GOP hates him. He had nothing to lose, he was unpopular, why not speak the truth about the issues?

His lack of popularity was multifactorial and the MEDIA played a huge role in maufacturing it.
