Is it just me, or is there something wrong with Roberts face in this one

I wish I could find the picture my local newspaper ran on my birthday a week ago. Extreme closeup, made Roberts look quite insane. I guess it's true. Me local paper IS liberal.

Is it just me. Or is he about to eat that poor child...

7. It's just a badly-staged photo. It's like those "professional smiles"
that are obviously grimaces without any real warmth behind them. The kid is being natural, Roberts is being a fraud.

It's his eyes, isn't it. Blank. He's either blank, or he has that wounded puppy on crack look on his face.

12. Yep, he's clearly thinking about the photo-op, not enjoying his kid
He's grimacing and staring blankly. His eyes look like they're focusing about 6 feet beyond his kid's head.

14. Now I have to say it, fujiyama. I've thought he looked like
one of the larger baby dolls one used to see a few years ago. They had a soft plastic skinlike face and arms. You could even move the "skin" around a bit. Plus he has unusual eyes. I know this is nuts, but to me, he looks like an alien.Pull off the mask and what is underneath?

...what I get from the picture is a "vanquisher" astonished to find that this small, naked, and bloodied prey actually holds his voice and very life in his left hand (ala Christ defeating evil when evil attempts to consume Him).

Extrapolating to today's politics -- It's the surprise of this arrogant administration's life to be at the mercy of real human experience.
