Ashland, KY Gas price: $4.25 p/gallon
Hubby called tonight and saw it while he was driving. It's not bad here in Eastern TN, yet. Highest I've seen so far is 2.99.

why the hell is the price so high? Price gouging bastards. The manager/owner should get his ass in trouble for this.

But there is a pretty big oil refinery right outside of Ashland. Ashland Oil, oddly enough. :silly:

After Sept. 11th the prices went through the roof as well. Don't quite get it, but anytime the prices rise nationwide Ashland seems to take a pretty substantial hit, and in a hurry too. :shrug:

4. $2.64 here in San Antonio at the Diamond Shamrock but I paid
$2.75 at a neighborhood family owned c-store earlier, because the shamrock was temporarily out of gas.
