My Run In With ABush-Bot At the store tonight

Tonight while waiting in the checkout line I was reading the story about the Chief Drunk in the Enquire when the cashier ask me what I was reading, I told her and then said jokingly "the article has a recipie for bushes favorite mixer" she laughed. I then shared with her the article about bush not imposing sanction on Saudi Arabia in regards to Child Sex trade going on....she said you have to be kidding....I told her to look at the WAPOST website and see for herself. I told her I called the So.Baptist Conv.today and asked them If that best represents Christian values that bush preeches of.....I got no comment from the SBC by the way.

This guy in line said I was full of $hit and I hated the president and this country...I asked him to justify what he said...of course he just stood there and mumbled and then said you cant believe everything you read on the web(Rush said so) I then asked him if he listen to OxyRush he said yes....I then said you know you cant believe everything you hear either especially from Rush...he said everything Rush says is TRUTH because he has a direct line to the WH....I knew I wasnt going anywhere with this guy so I asked him a question......

I asked him to name 5 things that bush has done that have directly made his life better and more prosperous.......You Know What???
He then stood there and mumbled and studderd himed and hawed and then said bush was the greatest president ever and was a great Christian to....My final words to him were....would Jesus look the other way while your wife and child were sold into sex slavery.....

He Huffed and I walked away.

We were filling up at a gas station and this sorry ass excuse for a person drives up with an SUV that has a Bush/Cheney sticker on it. I chose to open my window and blast Green Day's 'American Idiot' on the stereo while glaring at her. She looked at me several times, then went back into her car while it filled up. When she climbed back out of her Suddenly Useless Vehicle she first peered around the pump to see if I was still glaring at her, then popped back behind the pump. She scuttled off to pay (I hope her bill was $100) and we left. It was quite satisfying!

I mean, every single goddam story re: Bush is just soaked in blood. Remind them about all of those people who have died in Iraq, and all of those people who have died in Katrina, and all those poor people who have died because of his hard-ass policies toward the poor.

I recently had a run-in with a Bush-bot who actually was confused about a magnetic sticker next to my Kerry sticker on my car. It was "Mission Welcome Home", (http://dva.state.wi.us/Welcomehome.asp). I had designed the logo. He thought it was some kind of anti-troops or "pull out the troops" sticker and tried to give me shit about it. I asked him if he had signed up to go over to Iraq...he muttered some shit and walked away...



Does that look like an anti-troops logo? Wha?

The logo is just great!

I did the logo, but the project is ably done by vets helping vets...there are MANY sad stories.

It works every time they walk away quickly.

I also have enlistment papers and brochures in my car just for these types of situations.

I ridicule the bushists....it's empowering...plus they are so easy to intimidate!

to get off a zinger when a dumbot interrupted my friend and I before Labor Day when we were talking about New Orleans and my friend said she heard on tv that the Fed response wasn't very good.

This woman whips around in the store with smoke coming out of her ears and yells.."THE GOVERNMENT IS NOT GOD ..THEY CAN'T DO EVERYTHING!"

I yelled back .."bush gave the money for strenghtening the levees to Iraq and I KNOW THEY'RE NOT GOD ..THEY'RE THE FARTHEST THING FROM IT!"

I heard not one peep from her after that. I was quite satisfied with my emotional instantaneous response for once.
