Freeper exit poll info.
I don't know if this is legit.

Exit polling:

RECALL: No - 57%, Yes - 43%

Bustamante - 33%
Schwarzenegger - 30%
McClintock - 17%

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
God help us, if this is true!

Dick Morris was predicting a Bustamante win.

I guess the McClintock voters may have achieved their desire, instead of Arnold beating Bustamante: 50% to 30%, we end up with Gov. Bustamante.

1. If recall is at 57% NO
Then Davis keeps the job.

But I think Davis's recent surge will help out with defeating Arnold should Davis not get the 51% needed. Hopefully folks will vote NO on the Recall and 'YES' for Bustamente - just incase!!

8. I hope
this is true, but I don't trust the source.

Also, these results do not give us a Gov. Bustamante, they keep Davis as Gov. (no-57%).

Let's keep the hope alive.

10. A "NO" on recall by such a large margin would help rebut the inevitable...
..."You only won because you slandered Ahhnold!" complaints.

If the recall fails by a significant %, we can say "Ahhnold didn't even enter into it. People could have decided they wanted to recall Davis and then voted for Bustamente. But the people of California decided they didn't want a recall at all."

Of course, this complaint will likely come in any situation short of an Arnold win. If it does, my answer would be these three (terribly ironic) words:

"GET OVER IT!"

13. wow they sound cocky
Edited on Tue Oct-07-03 05:21 PM by Kusala
like they've already won it, based on some fabricated exit polling data.

FYI the above link is a different post than the original thread. In the link listed above, the freepers are claiming a blowout for Arnie in "exit poll data".

17. They are cocky because as they see it--through the lens
of their ignorant provincialism--Schwarzenegger's winning California will mean that Republicans have "taken" California.

I've read it all over that site. It's all just sport for some people, this "us versus them" mentality--sort of like a football game.

14. I love their Vast Left Wing Conspiracy Theories...
where random person with average sounding MEXICAN name, like Maria or Jose, votes in different places over and over.

And they'll get more votes after working hours because more people with jobs vote Republican.

Because in their world Democrats can't win unless swarthy invaders cheat them out of whats rightfully theirs. And only Republicans have jobs. F--- YOU FREEPERS! The era of the fat angry whiney white guy is over!

I know where I've heard that rationale before...on another site...

Lots of people vote BEFORE they come to work. what????? smart people with or without jobs vote when it is most convenient for them.
