I discovered one reasonably beery night in a local saloon about nine months ago that "der Bushler" and other Administration officials -- "der Rumsfeld, der Norquist," etc., fit the tune and its meter very nicely, the result of which was a geezer sing-in: quite astonishing to the younger folk, who of course had never heard the song in its original form, much less witnessed the associated body-language -- especially giving the "Zieg Heil" salute while bending over as if to pass gas and mimicking the sounds of seam-splitting flatulence.

Bunnypants. But I, myself, have always used * for a variety of reasons. Moreover, I think it was Kurt Vonnegut who identified the symbol * as looking like a puckered asshole. That gives it strength.
