What the hells up with all the anti-Cindy bias? Anti-A.N.S.W.E.R?

Is it post-rally woes?

Jaysus, what does people want? If she didn't deliver Bush' head on a plate this weekend, she's no good anymore, right?

Cindy is a bridge builder, because she doesn't hate the repubs - to the contrary; she embraces thos who've lost theirs and prays with them.

She's 'folksy' and 'down to earth', 'connects with the grass root' and 'calls a spade a spade'. Now who doesn't do that but claims he does? She's a time bomb in Bushes lap and he knows it.

She is very difficult to smear, Cindy. But the attempts are so visible it's almost a joke.

Where's our uniform? We'll put it on. Is it peace signs and sandals this week? Or was that last week?

Which is more suitable for the cause, a smile or a frown? I can turn the pastie either way, you see.

Okay, citizen. I'm ready. Which direction would you like me to goosestep? In a progressive manner, of course.

A.N.S.W.E.R.'s support of the Right of Return for Palestinian citizens is the main reason for the grumbling. If A.N.S.W.E.R. dropped that single cause there would not have nearly been this much bitching.

They watered down the message, PERIOD.

They watered down the message you wanted the rally to be about- but you didn't pay for the permit, stage, et al., they did. Their dime, their show.

Folks got fed up with the delays and went ahead with their main goal - leaving A.N.S.W.E.R. to enjoy it's speakers alone.

A.N.S.W.E.R. can have as many speakers talking about as many issues as they like, but that doesn't mean people have to stay around and listen. At this point, they might want to ask themselves how effective they're being if they can't keep people's attention. Having 30 or so people around at the end (which Limbaugh used as fodder for his show) and being stragglers to their own march is just embarrassing.

If the rally was for our own edification, it was a huge success. I would hope, however, that it would also serve to convince some of those poeple who haven't been concerned about the war to look into the issue and join us.

Unfortunately, the A.N.S.W.E.R. connection has given the loonies ammunition for the other side. The article at http://slate.msn.com/id/2126913/ is being widely circulated and, for those unfamiliar with the author, will get some pretty good mileage.
