Plastic surgery gives injured soldiers new life

Army Sgt. Keith Mitchell never thought he would need a plastic surgeon.

Then again, he never thought his right arm would be nearly ripped off by a Bengal tiger in the Baghdad Zoo. snip

Mitchell was attending an after-hours unit barbeque at the zoo when he was mauled by the tiger, which a fellow soldier shot. Mitchell's arm was left hanging by little more than a nerve and an artery.

An Army investigation determined Mitchell had been drinking alcohol against regulations, but was not drunk and had not tried to feed the tiger.

3. Was that the barbeque where they were eating game from the zoo?

I remember reading about US soldiers eating game (deer antelope etc.) they had killed in the Baghdad zoo. I was soooo proud of our soldiers that day..........
