I figured out Kyra Phillips' schtick...
she is bucking to be the next Nancy Grace.

Kyra, just remember what Sharon Stone said years ago..."You can only sleep your way to the 'middle'."

1. Unless you're Barbara Walters.
Of course, those were just rumors.

Nixon.

3. That's what I heard...
Of course, she was the first woman to rise so high in TV news, too.

People (white senior newsmen) were bound to talk.

4. Interestingly,
I know her former husband's family quite well here in Philly. they never ever say anything bad about her ever ever ever, even when she makes a complete fool of herself - they're a pretty swift group, probably sworn to utter secrecy.

5. But for Barbara...
There would be no Jane Pauley, Leslie Stahl, etc.

She's a pioneer.

No one turns down an interview with her!

6. yeah well, that being said...
she's the one who asked Kitty Dukakis right out of the box if the would be a Passover Sedeer in the White House if Michael were elected. It was a sneak attack...she never asked anyone in the Bush family any one of a number of potentially embarassing questions like that which would pertain to their personal lives...
