Comcast now scrambling C-Span in Sacramento.
I dropped everything but basic cable a long time ago because I just had no use for CNN, MSNBC, etc. Damn I miss the Daily Show though. Now, starting today, comcast moved cspan 1 & 2 to scrambled stations. How can they do this? Isn't this tax payer supported?

4. The cable industry sponsors c-span.
C-Span is a private, nonprofit busines created in 1979 by America's cable television industry. It's operating funds are derived from monthly fees paid by affiliated cable and satellite TV systems and other distributors of C-Span programming.

I would call, anyway.

10. Satellite Noise
I had a similar problem earlier...don't blame big brother...blame mother nature.

The C-SPAN and other cable signals on that same "bird" faded out for several minutes this afternoon thanks to sunspots. This is usually the case this time of the year.

Too bad it didn't fuzz out on Washington Journal's Fascist Friday.

16. NO. They moved the channels from 28 and 29

A cable ready TV can only get the unscrambled channels up to 30 without a box - on this system anyway.
