DUers, lay off Bill "Snake Eyes" Bennett already. He didn't say that

we SHOULD abort all black babies.

He merely was saying that if some person WERE to abort all black babies, since black people are much more predisposed to commit crimes, that the crime rate would go down since we'd be aborting most of the potential criminals.

I think when you look at what he was really trying to say, it all seems a lot more reasonable. :sarcasm:

merely made a calculation to go with the "no apologies, I didn't say anything wrong" strategy, as opposed to the "what was I thinking, too many Vicodin last week, sorry" strategy.

He keeps apologizing for the first part of his observation and not for the internal operative phrase, though. He seems to be stuck in the abortion zone.

Either that or he ran his mouth to take the heat off his brother's client.

6. Focusing on the abortion part is a distraction. Even within his statement

he didn't advocate such a move. But it prevents him from having to discuss the racist implication of why aborting BLACK babies specifically would bring down the crime rate, as opposed to any other kind of baby.

10. No, I got it. It just reminded me of the things I heard growing up when
