2. Caller just said this was Pelosi's fault cause she wants to be
Majority Leader in the house so badly. Also that all the Dems fear Pelosi and the can't vote anyway but the way she want them too. The caller knew that for a fact. Were that true.

BTW, moderator never pointed out that to be come Majority Leader you just can't unseat the opposition leader--you need to head the majority in the House.

17. I wasn't calling Skidmore an "ignorant ass" BTW.
I was referring to the caller on the show.

6. Damn we're good (who knew?)
Now if only we could use our collective "left wing conspiracy" powers and take back the White House, the Senate, the Congress and the Supreme Court we'd be sittin' purdy!

7. Every time you hear their tortured logic...
Revel in the sure and certain knowledge that the smell you smell is the stink of their desperation in the air.

12. Don't you love the smell of desperation in the morning?
That's what I hear from all the wingnuts calling in on C-Span in the morning. Bluster, bluster, bluster; walk like a cowboy, carry a gun and be wrong at the top of your voice. I love it!

9. There is a massive left-wing conspiracy, I'm part of it.
Edited on Sun Oct-02-05 07:23 AM by ET Awful
See together, we've conspired to convince the majority of voters that they should vote for Democratic candidates instead of Republicans. By doing so, we hope to re-capture control of the White House and the legislature. We've also conspired, along with others, to convince people that their initial support for the Iraq war was erroneous and that they were lied to. Who are the "others" you might ask? We like to refer to them as "real world events." :) :) :)

11. I wish it were true.
Unfortunately the democratic party is so moribund, so divided, so disorganized, that it could not be true. DeLay's situation is the conclusion of apolitical justice. He's just mad that this happened before the republicans could permanenently control the entire judicial system.

13. It's been an active fantasy of mine since the last
*resident appointment last fall, that there is a secret democratic cabal that really has a plan that just can't be revealed just yet.

**sigh**

It gets me through the worst of it.

14. Fuck the Washington Journal
If they're so smart, why can't they see the legitimacy of the indictments? They're asking the wrong questions if they really give a damn about this country.
