Rove and Libby could be indicted on Conspiracy charges.

You know what that means?

There was a Conspiracy to put Plame in danger.

Why?

Because, there was a Conspiracy to cause retribution for what Joe Wilson said because he debunked what the Bush Administration was claiming.

Why?

Because, there was a Conspiracy to start a war in Iraq.

1. The conspiracy

was to protect the lie. Two distinct things threatened the lie: {1} Wilson telling the truth about there being no truth to the yellow cake nonsense; and {2} analysts in CI being very close to identifying where the connection between the forgeries and the VP's office were. By no small coincidence, another explosive case (Larry Franklin & the AIPAC spies) completes the picture.

Put Plame in danger? How ? She already outed herself in the Vanity Fair article after the fact.

Not to rain on your post, but the repugs used to spend hours upon hours making up conspiracy theories on a hope and a pray that somehow their world living under a Clinton administration would disappear on some flimsy charge and make the world right again. We spend far too much time doing the same with BFEE

This Plame deal will die a slow painful death while party operatives draw any and all political damage they can afflict on the repugs.

In the end nothing will happen. Bet on it.

3. Timing is everything.

And since she wasn't in the said article until way after she was exposed by Rove and Libby, it is of no significance to this case.
