Is Rush Limbaugh a traitor? Discuss.

Help me settle an argument. I say he is a traitor by the following Webster's definitions of the word:

1. one who betrays another's trust or is false to an obligation or duty
2. one who commits the offense of attempting by overt acts to overthrow the government of the state to which the offender owes allegiance or to kill or personally injure the sovereign or the sovereign's family

My bullet points:
- He is a spokesman for a political ideology that runs counter to the principles that this nation was founded upon.
- He equates reasonable dissent to treason.
- He cheerleads for unjustifiable military aggression against countries that pose no threat, thus inciting violent action against our soldiers and citizens.
- He engages in felonious drug trafficking.
- He proudly stands in opposition to fair taxation and funding of education and infrastructure maintenance.
- He is in favor of trillion-dollar deficits that will one day lead to communist China owning our economy.

Please help me add more points.

Lord Haw-Haw was the name British listeners gave to William Joyce, a German radio propaganda broadcaster during World War II. Born in Brooklyn, New York in 1906, Joyce moved with his English mother and Irish-American father to England in 1921. He joined the Nazi movement in England in the mid-'30s and fled to Germany just before war broke in 1939. He immediately became a broadcaster for Joseph Goebbel's Propaganda Ministry. His radio program reached England weekly from 1939 to 1945.

On the night of April 30, 1945, a drunken Joyce made his last broadcast from Hamburg as British troops entered the city. With his adopted world crashing down around him, but still committed to the Nazi cause, Joyce rambled on through his farewell speech. In Berlin, Hitler was simultaneously saying good-bye to his entourage in anticipation of ending his life a few hours later.

Captured by the British, Joyce stood trial for treason. The court denied his claim of American citizenship because he held a British passport. He was found guilty and hanged on January 3, 1946.

He was a hack DJ in the 'burgh until he found his calling and a huge pay check. He has a following that the truth means nothing....bigotry must be the second oldest profession...these people are " dead enders"..you'll never change their minds. like trying to teach a pig to sing.

If a traitor purposely divides a country in two by using hate tactics, then yes, he's a traitor...and so is Bush.

Rush Limbaugh has had tremendous influence on conservatives, unfortunately. I could get along fine with Republicans before he came along. Now, they are hatemongers with big chips on their shoulders. I wish Republicans would go back to the way they used to be, when you could have a disagreement & still be friends. For all the younger people here, yes, Republicans actually used to be more reasonable. The neocon "disease" ruined them.

Propagandists are one of the most dangerous types in a country like ours and the shape its in.

We have the GOP that gained power by using propagandists like Rush and Fox. Without those people I doubt this could have happened. If their true motives were ever really revealed they wouldnt be able to win anything. Thats why these propagandists were so valuable to them. They flipped America over and now the rich have even more control and are taxed less. They tried to ruin Social Security . They are trying to kill any social program that helps lift people out of poverty. They want cheap labor. Social programs dont help bring cheap labor.

Anyway these bastards are the true enemies of America. Theyre more dangerous that alqaeda because they control the media and the media controls popular opinion.

There right to free speech is a guaruntee and so is ours but were not getting that right. Theyre blackballing this side.

Why no Liberals with a show on Fox or MSNBC? They do have the occasional centrist but not one true Liberal.

ArAmerica reaches very few homes out there.If you dont have computer access you probably have never heard of them. 50% of America doesnt have computer access. And theyre hurting because of corporate blackballing.

Whether or not Bush listens to this rot I don't know...but Bush also rejects GW too.
