Don't know if this made main stream press. Maybe you want to pass it along?

3. It is another tick borne disease (I have Lyme) and I think it is called
rabbit fever. I do know that is very dangerous, if I was there I would get tested. I have been tested for all tick borne diseases, I think it was 11 tubes in all at 1 time, almost passed out.

5. Yes, I saw this story in a different article and check this out...
...a reader over at BradBlog is showing some of the symptoms of exposure to that bacteria.

This was the first article I saw on it. Is it much ado about nothing? Who knows, but that's not the point.

If this had been a major bioattack why weren't the citizens notified? Why weren't people told about this sooner?

"The Working Group on Civilian Biodefense considers F tularensis to be a dangerous potential biological weapon because of its extreme infectivity, ease of dissemination, and substantial capacity to cause illness and death."
(source: JAMA)

If it was a bioattack, we will soon find out:

"Release in a densely populated area would be expected to result in an abrupt onset of large numbers of cases of acute, nonspecific febrile illness beginning 3 to 5 days later (incubation range, 1-14 days), with pleuropneumonitis developing in a significant proportion of cases during the ensuing days and weeks."
(source: JAMA)

Nasty stuff. But if it was "natural" it's strange that it would show up in DC:

"In the United States, human cases have been reported from every state except Hawaii; however, most cases occur in south-central and western states (especially Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, South Dakota, and Montana)."
(source: JAMA)

Whatever happened, it was unusual, suspicious, and potentially very dangerous. Yet, the public wasn't notified until more than a week after!?

Why doesn't this surprise me?

11. My bet is that it didn't happen.
I think that it was just disinformation to discourage future protesters.
