Get into an argument in Florida, get shot -- New Law says its legal.
According to Yahoo news, Heil Jebber of Douchebag's new law now makes it a-okay to shoot someone if you feel threatened.

It's called the "Shoot first, who gives a shit about questions" law.

Here's the link.

Florida Packing Heat, Tourists Told

I wonder if it applies to people who feel threatened by the actions of politicans, namely neo-Con Governors who argue with and berate those who disagree with him. :sarcasm:

2. Florida has NO income tax because of Tourist
and Britain has already worn their ppl about this new law.

The first time somebody get killed in a road rage argument, IMHO a lot of tourist will be looking for other vacation plans.

4. Wonder why they are targeting "tourists"?
Tourists are usually not a criminal element. I wouldn't think so anyway.

6. One of the most stupid laws ever enacted.........
I moved out of Florida last June, among other reasons because of their almost non-existent gun laws. Anyone can buy a handgun without a permit with a three day waiting period (which is usually "expedited" to one day or less for locals) and shoot anyone they think is going to do them harm. This is just TOO fucked up and I fled that State like a scalded dog. It's worse then the old west down there, I swear.
I had visited Florida numerous times during my lifetime and thought it would be the ideal place to retire, just like every other northern old fart. The reality of the State never occurred to me until I moved there. After living in New York al my life it was like moving to another planet. Nothing makes sense down there. There are no vehicle inspection laws, I've seen some of the most dangerous, falling apart jalopies on the roads you can imagine. I moved back to New York. I need the sanity at my age, to hell with the damned sun. Snow and cold are a treat compared to a Southern Florida summer. And the BUGS! Don't get me started on the bugs!
I LOVE New York! :loveya:

7. This is FUD mongering at its worst.
The law requires an actual threat. The way it was written before you had to run away and be cornered before you could justifiably use force.

The Brady people are using republican tactics to hit the tourism industry in Fl. in the pocketbook.
