Follow ups I received for my chain e-mail respose
My original post:

A couple of responses to share:

I feel the need to respond to your message by saying that if God can't protect and save us then no armor on earth will protect any of us. While it is our God-given right to worship God freely, not everyone worships in the true Godly way that His Word has told us to do. Many people do not know God. They may have a knowledge of Him, but if you don't believe that He is light and life for us all, then you are not a true believer in God. I hope you come to know the God I serve and worship. Whether this chain letter is true or not, it serves a purpose to make us all think about where we will spend eternity. Christ is the greatest gift ever given to all people who will believe and recieve Him. I'll be praying for you.

The ACLU is an organization set up to take God out of everything this country was founded on. Don't get blinded by the world's view. That is what they want you to believe, that they are here to protect (represents individuals ) ........."that is a bunch of crap." This organization and this country are on the way to hell. Look at what actually the ACLU is working on right now....God is going to be taken out of everything that is Federal property..........even though our forefathers set up this whole thing. The media twists everything around, and wants to make Christians look so silly. I am so sick of the media, and the ACLU. Just look at what the current things the ACLU is doing :
1. ACLU Calls for Full Release of Roberts’ Records, Urges Careful Consideration As Senate Committee Approves Nominee for Next Chief Justice (not a party thing huh? Sounds like a party thing to me)
2. The ACLU Challenge to Intelligent Design..(no mention of any individuals here...just an organization against the creation belief.
3.ACLU Urges Supreme Court Not to Force Universities to Accept Military Recruiters on Campus...more gay and lesbian based agenda
4.ACLU of Hawai’i Files Lawsuit Over Exclusion of Gay Groups From “Family Day” Parade
5. Not in my state ..That's what ACLU affiliates in 18 states are saying today about abstinence-only-until-marriage programming
6.Take a Stand on the Constitution and Oppose Flag Amendment....Congress is again considering a constitutional amendment to allow the government to make it a crime to “desecrate” the flag. For the first time, however, unless the ACLU and its supporters really pull out all the stops, it will pass.

Do I have to go on? It is plain and simple....go to their website you would be shocked. Even though this one story is true............these six other plus hundreds more are true.

How Much Time Do You Have On Your Hands? I did not read the forward until you sent your opinionated statement, because most just delete before reading.

I did reply back to #3:
It's great that you delete these e-mails without reading them. Unfortunately not everyone does, otherwise they would not continue to be circulated.

So, whenever someone I know sends one of the emails my way, I always reply. Letting the truth be known is something very important to me and I feel it is important to share the truth with those I know. There are so many of these false e-mails that I have already checked into their validity, so it doesn't take much time to respond.

Having a relative in Iraq is quite stressful so whenever I have the opportunity to express support for our troops and share what they truly need, I also pass that message along. My "opinionated" statements have started dialogues with others that have family members in service, as well as those that are looking for a way to support the troops. I enjoy these exchanges of ideas as well as the support system that they create.

Thanks for your reply.

#1 and #2 have been drinking the kool-aid and jesus juice.

I will share more responses as I get them.

2. I don't get the connection
"3.ACLU Urges Supreme Court Not to Force Universities to Accept Military Recruiters on Campus...more gay and lesbian based agenda"

what does opposing recruiters on campus have to do with the "gay agenda".

BTW - ask #1 how many Christians have been killed in Iraq - or are none of them "True Christians" as proved because they didn't "pray hard enough to stay alive"........

3. Rsponse #2 is against the Constitution
since the whole point of the ACLU is to defend the First Amendment rights of citizens.

4. They sound hopeless
They sound like they have been thoroughly indoctrinated and have no idea what they're talking about.

For instance, we can take God out of every single public and government institution and it should mean nothing to them if their faith is solid. THEY are the ones who are always saying government "shouldn't interfer" should be "small" etc. and that people need to "take responsibility" for themselves.

Well, here's a message for them; Stop expecting the government to support your religion and take "responsibility" for it yourself! No one can keep you from praying whenever you want (as long as you're not forcing someone else into it) and no one can keep you from teaching your children about religion IN YOUR HOMES AND CHURCHES. (That's what churches are for, remember?) It's not the government's responsibility to promote YOUR religion above everyone else's, sorry. And it doesn't mean we have some sinister "agenda." Our only agenda is to protect the constitution and the FREEDOM of ALL Americans.

6. Response #4
noone can make someone pray.......unless you have a gun to someone's head............the forward actually started out as a joke....to make fun of how the ACLU might have interpreted the picture.....Everyone has the right to pray the way they feel they should.....I don't think in this country that people are made to do things they don't want to do. I think the ACLU has their own agenda and they do do things on behalf of individuals who have their own agenda. That is what this organization is made up of..........a bunch of non-Christians. Rush Limbaugh is an idiot anyway.....I'm sure they do some good things, but their overall stand on issues is not something a Christian would support, therefore I am against the ACLU.
