Harriet E. Miers, president and shareholder of Locke Purnell Rain Harrell and high on everyone's list of favorite lawyers, will receive the 1996 Jurisprudence Award from the Anti-Defamation League at a luncheon in her honor Tuesday.

Honors continue to shower on Harriet E. Miers as she heads toward assumption of the duties of president of the State Bar of Texas in June. The latest recognition of president-elect Ms. Miers' outstanding work in civic causes will occur April 9, when the Dallas chapter of the American Jewish Committee presents her the 1992 Institute of Human Relations Award.
