4. Today. The reporter said he didn't know why they were protesting
but it was really hot, so he was leaving. :D

5. We can only hope!!
That was the best protest tactic I've ever seen from them. If we could get them to permanently have tape over their mouths, the country would be in a far better place right now.

7. I saw them on a Court TV news segment.
The older guy with gray hair was reporting. He didn't know why they were there but said it was too hot and he was leaving. Maybe the asylum was on a field trip?

8. They're protesting because they finally got the news.
Bush has no intentions of overruling Roe v. Wade.

These dumbshits bought into Republican mythology that said the Republican approach to Roe was something other than a purely opportunistic power grab to get their votes.

They feel betrayed because, well, they've been betrayed.

HO HO HO. Merry Christians! You voted for him and he screwed you.

That's your early Christmas present. Meanwhile you shat on the only party that actually had a plan with a prayer for reducing abortions, the 95-10 plan, because it wasn't overturning Roe.

Now Roe is going to be the law for another 30 years and you just now woke up to discover that you've been decieved and bufftucked.

Pray some more, fundies.

10. When the first case attempting to reverse Roe comes to the SC,
and it's either not heard, or not overturned, I shudder to think what these freaks might resort to. They are some of the most dangerous wackos on this earth.

12. Would be nice. But I suspect they'll just stay home, and plot revenge
against whomever they think is most responsible for all the eeeevil.

14. But if we give them an alternative vision...95/10 combined with
fetal transplantation...

Who knows how many might actually have a change of heart.

15. Yes, once they turn against the GOP we'll look good.
At least we advocate use of birth control, resulting in less pregnancies and abortions. But that's being logical. Are you sure they're capable of this?

16. Not all of them, but many.
If they have a choice of "waiting for Roe to fall" -basically the entirety of the Republican plan; versus:

Concrete steps to actually reduce/end abortion, including:
economic and educational assistance to young mothers
economic assistance and removal of barriers to adoption
health care assistance to defray the cost of childbirth
adoption counselling
education on abortion risks
ultrasound technology
parental notification
education on statutory rape laws and child support
(the 95/10 plan)

plus investing in the development of transplanting techniques to transfer viable fetuses (fetii? fetum?) into infertile wombs...

At least Democrats actually HAVE a plan. The Republicans have jack.

13. Not a protest then, but a "vigil". Hmmm, in front of the SC?
Smells like a threat to me.

THe SCOTUS comes back to work, so they are out there waving and screaming trying to get the justices to see things their way and overturn Roe v Wade if they get the chance.

they'll wait until we have a democratic president.
