Why Nominate a Time Bomb? Why Confirm One??
Let's see. From what I read here today, Meirs was the 'go to' gal to scrub AWOL's record clean. Also, Meirs was up to her pits in a lottery scam in Texas that funneled money to the GOP, etc. One would think that she would be hauled off to a toxic waste dump instead of "nominated".

I can see that she probably could blackmail herself to where she is presently; BUT now that she's under the microscope because of this nomination, something just doesn't seem right. Do you think (gosh I'm just baffled) that the media will never, ever, never bring out those two facts 'cause they are under "instructions" not to? But, where does that leave our Dems?? Reid and others think she's the cat's meow. Are they really in the dark about her past---of course not. Brings up a hell of a lot of questions on both sides, doesn't it? Why does Bush "risk it" when she holds the family (Bush and Repuke Party) secrets? Why don't Reid and the Dems start screaming about her part in these two scandals right out of the chute?? I'm getting real tired of being treated like dumb cattle..........Oh, she's probably fifty times better than what Bush COULD nominate; but filth and corruption are filth and corruption. And since that corruption is the bases of everyone in this administration, it's sickening to think we wink and nod approve it to the Supreme Court. We've laid the groundwork over these last few weeks of the Repukes' "culture of corruption". We need to add her to the list as an emphasis.
