Look out! it's clear from this press conf that Miers is Pro-Life
He said he put people on there that had the same viewpoint as he did (he included Roberts in that sentence)

He said he was pro-life

6. Tweety says Jr was 'at his best' today. Russert toned that comment
down good.

When he said he had never discussed her views on abortion

3. Oh, there's no doubt about it
She is a female Bush in Pit-Bull shoes. Might as well turn back the clocks now because the progress of the last forty years will be gone in 10.

4. I think that's a given
nothing new here. What is the big question is whether she would allow this to influence her decision to rule personally or judicially.

9. She will absolutely do what her "brilliant" leader

wants her to do.

She has kissed their butt for all these years, why should she stop?

She isn't crazy, she is "pro -life" and that means she wants to save her own.

13. Tim R. pointed out Jr's little lies during the press conference. One was
when Jr said during the interview with Miers----yet, jr also said he did not interview Miers cause 'he already knew her"--then russert said-How can Bush say he knows what she thinks if he did not talk to her about it?

Maybe is it divine inspiration??????

11. You are shocked by this?
I think it's a given that anyone he nominates is pro-life. The question is, will they overturn Roe v. Wade.

15. ANTI-CHOICE is what you mean.
Plenty of women will DIE when there's no access to medically safe abortion, so it's definitely NOT "pro-life."

16. Yes indeed. Executive privilege is something people don't understand
how important it is, according to junior, he said, I'm not turning over any of Miers papers. Meaning that most papers involve our CIC.
