Why didn't Bush nominate Judge Judy?
She has more legal experience than his recent nominee and I'd bet Judy is Republican.

1. She's too well bred to fit in with the Bush Crime Family. NT

2. She is a republican
but not a close friend of bu$h. You have to be a bush crony to get appointed.

3. She's a blatantly biased bitch. Judge Mathis seems pretty cool tho...
I've seen Judge Judy decide a case strictly on the basis that she didn't like the fact that the defendent was a teenager with long hair. Never watched her again!

I like Judge Mathis well enough, though. As far as these types of shows go, at least.... Well, even farther, actually, since I'd prefer him on the Supreme Court than Meirs or Scalia.

5. Yeah why not
She'd kick everybody's butt.

He's probably afraid. Watch the show--the way she tears into people about the ex-boyfriend's phone bill, a car being keyed, or who has to fix a sofa, the other eight Justices would be crying in the corner in five minutes.

6. Should have made her the chief justice ...
... 'cause I'd love to hear her tell Scalia, Thomas, et al "I'm the boss, applesauce!"

She could make some interesting briefs ... "Beauty fades, but precendent is forever."

Or maybe: "Now comes the plaintiff with 'stupid' written all over his forehead."

7. No way. Judge Judy would tear his ass up.
So would Judge Wapner. So would Pee-Wee Herman, for that matter.
