Does Alabama have a 'hire the retarded' provision when it comes to their Senators? Sessions floor speech was just awful. He stood there and argued that because Lindy England didn't cry out at her trial that Bush made her do her awful deeds that nobody but her is guilty. He is all six beers shy of six-pack.

Honestly, he is in the running for most annoying Senator, right up there with Santorum, Allen and the two oddballs from Oklahoma.

Sir, as a resident of Colorado I have to tell you I was astounded that you were one of 9 Senators to actually vote against John McCaine's Anti-Torture legislation. You voted PRO-TORTURE. Have you no sense of decency? You should be ashamed of yourself. Nothing that has happend to this country and nothing that will happen to this country gives us the right to torture fellow human beings. To be honest I don't believe a sane, compassionate person could have listened to a man who was tortured and held captive for 5 years relate his story and then go ahead and vote to allow the U.S. to condone this sort of behaviour. I truly hope the rest of the Abu Grahib photos are released to the public so my fellow Colorado residents and the rest of the U.S. population can see what you are supporting.
