Joe Wilson came up the other day, and this guy has the audacity to try and say thatJoe Wilson was a liar... that Saddam DID TRY to get yellowcake 20% U-235 from Niger. I pointed out that not only was he wrong, but also this claim had been thoroughly discredited YEARS ago, and what did I get as a rebuttal? "Saddam helped Al-Qaeda attack us!"

I took the high road, after a fashion. I stopped talking to him right then and there, permanently.

This guy is nice as could be, but he's a Rightist ideologue who refuses to seriously consider any evidence that runs contrary to his opinions. In other words, he's an intellectual sloth, unworthy of attention, but from what I've gathered, he's a darling of the Right. A homespun West Virginian who keeps it racist and un-real. Just what Dr. Rove ordered, I should think... Oy, every time that I think that things are changing, I get a reminder that the battle is far from won.

When I got back from the DC protest I put the snap shot from the Washington Monument on my computer screen as wall paper, and added the date in big letters at the top "Sept 26 2005, We Made History".

Our administrative assistant saw it, and asked what it was. I said: "You don't want to know." (She is a radical repug, one of those that you can't talk to.) She said: "Oh did you go to DC last week?" I said yea, I went there to protest Bush's illegal war in Iraq."

She couldn't believe there were that many people and accused me of fixing the picture. She said if there were that many people it would have been on the news. I responded by saying well believe it hun you are in the minority. There were well over 300,000 people representing over 65% of the population. There was nothing on the news, because the main stream media is controlled by advertising dollars from corporations controlled by the Bush administration.

At this point she went completely off. She raised her voice to nearly a yell and stared saying things about how we are not supporting the troops, and that if we leave Iraq those that died will have died in vain, and they signed up and volunteered so why the hell should we care, and we need to fight them over their so we don't have to fight them over here. I tried to get a word in edge wise by telling here that we support the troops by bringing them home, but it was impossible and then I heard well "Saddam Attacked Us!".

I said fine believe what ever you frigging want and I asked her to please leave my office. She kept going on and on and on. I tuned her out and I finally got up and went out side to smoke about a half a pack of cigs. You just can't talk to these people. They are brain washed.

I have given up. Those that are left are beyond hope. They can just die with the Bush administration.
