With indictments looming, let's hope no desperate moves are made
Now would be a perfect time for a perfect distraction. Rove may be plotting it now.

Let's just hope that those in power and with influence who care about this nation are safe and able to carry out justice. And that those who might do this nation harm are too afraid to carry out any more evil.

Justice is long overdue. But this administration tends to run from it.

8. Not the bunch in power in the White House!
They have to live with so much blood on their hands. If they lose their power, how can they justify the putrid stench of all the death they've spread?

When they have complete control, the guilt is worth it. But I imagine that they can never imagine themselves WITHOUT control.

And that worries me.

If we get 5-15 or even 20 indictments handed down, it'll make the fgeeding frenzy surrounding Lewinsky look like the ratings for the Chevy Chase Show.

17. That's when the Watergate indictments were handed down.
Very late Friday.

(Straining my memory here.) It was reported during the weekend with the obligatory talking heads on the Sunday news programs. But it wasn't until the following week that things hit hard. By that time, the House had already scheduled hearings on inquiries for impeachment. They would begin in a little over a month later.

The point here is, for something as important as this, it will not matter when they announce the indictments. It may be a good idea to do it on a Friday news dump.

Myself, I'd like to see it tomorrow. It's just the good feeling of making a huge splash.

I'm ready.

It's been a pissy week workin for the man for 15 days straight and putting up with ah,


...bah. I'm going to hope for the best. I've been trying to read The Politics of Truth by Wilson as time allows, and I do hope he and his family are vindicated with no mishap.

If hoped for indictments come down, be happy but keep calm and don't lose focus. When distractions arrive, as they will, planned or unplanned, don't freak out. Don't run around paranoid. Tin foil is a bad strategy. Always apply Occam's razor. Do not attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by incompetence and cronyism.
