Indictments in Plame Case Could Come Any Time

By E&P Staff

Published: October 05, 2005 11:15 PM ET

NEW YORK Is it the beginning of the end or the end of the beginning? Whatever way you look at it, it seems clear to many in Washington right now that indictments in the Valerie Plame affair will likely be announced soon, possibly on Thursday.

Note to editors and reporters: As the aspens turn, don't stray too far from your desks, cells or Blackberries.

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- President Bush will deliver a "major speech" speech Thursday on the progress of the war in Iraq and the broader conflict against terrorism, the White House said Wednesday.

Bush will deliver his remarks at 10:10 a.m. at a National Endowment for Democracy event in Washington.

So could we expect an announcement on the indictments at around, oh, say, maybe, perhaps....10am?

3. yes, but if the indictments are in
we weill see if the press follows with a major slam or not... I suspect if he keeps to the script they will leave the speech

They are starting to show signs of life... as in their corporate bosses realize what is at stake... and they don't like it
