Indictments will reveal the inadequacy of the American news media
If indictments do come down, they will hit an American public as unaware and unprepared as they would be for a piece of frozen lavatory waste from a passing airplane falling to earth and killing them.

Mainstream media has utterly failed them. I can just imagine the actual SURPRISE I will encounter in my own workplace if this comes down. MSM has covered Natalie Holloway and RunAway brides while the country was falling down around our ears. I am just wondering if finally some lights will go on in some previously unoccupied craniums about - "hey! how come I didn't know about this!"

2. Great Point
For those of us who have been waiting it seems like a very long time. But most Americans will be blindsided. And even the MSM won't be able to shrug this off.

5. Yeah, it's quite the weird place we political junkies live
We know all about the shitstorm that is a comin' but the average TV addict has no clue. Hurricane Valerie is a Cat 5 and she is about to hit middle America smack between the eyes.

13. Geez, we are going to run out of letters in the alphabet
before this hurricane season ends. LOL

You are right about the weird place we political junkies live. I feel like I don't even live on the same planet when I try to talk to people, even fairly well informed liberals, about all the crap I know about this misadministration and how it all fits together. Most of the time people get that glazed over look and I know it's time to give up for a bit. I've already put them on overload with too much information.

4. Song written & performed by Symbolman "Secret Agent Plame"
They need my film, which I researched over a year and spent months creating - VERY educational and more..

Plus the song I wrote and performed to honor Valerie Plame and for the credits of my film "Rove's War" that many here have been waiting for me to finish and ship.. (I was ill for about a month, really bad, better now tho)

Well, the film is done for those of you at the DU that have been so patient so I'll be sending your copies out in the next two days, meanwhile you can listen to the music I wrote for the credits (actually I wrote all the music in the film and performed that too, but it's a lot more low key)..

and I want to thank each of you for your patience, I apologise profusely but besides being very ill, I wanted to be sure and do a good job, so you'll probably be pleased with the two DVD set, 150+ minutes of hearings, (Downing Street Minutes with Conyers), graphics, hilarious right wing hypocrisy and a Chronology of the Plame outing from the beginning up to this point, that you'll be getting in the mail..

You can hear "Secret Agent Plame" at http://www.takebackthemedia.com

Hope you enjoy, if you do, kick this thread and let me know and pass it around if your would, I want Fitz and Wilson, maybe Rove and Libby to hear this one!

Here are the lyrics:

SECRET AGENT PLAME

There's a gal who led a life of danger
Everyone she met she stayed a stranger
With every move she makes, another story breaks
Odds are her old pals won't see tomorrow
Secret agent Plame, secret agent Plame,
Rove took away your number and gave away your name
Beware of yellow cake that you can't find, gal
The news'll drag your name right through a minefield
Not caring what they'd say
The White House gave you away
Odds are Bush's pals will get a medal,
Secret agent Plame, secret agent Plame
Rove took away your number and gave away your name

lead guitar

Secret agent Plame, secret agent Plame
Rove took away your number and gave away your name
Spying on the Saudi Arabs one day
Being in the paper's Headlines on next day
Oh Karl - let the wrong word slip
And Novak had loose lips
Traitors in the White House can't be fired,
Secret agent Plame, secret agent Plame
Rove took away your number and gave away your name
Secret agent Plame

8. I was at a DFA meetup last night and this was mentioned
people are only starting to pay attention because of oil prices at the gas pump and because of Katrina - those 2 things have unlocked a door onto a world that most people have been unaware of

B* and his cronies are inept and corrupt and have hurt us and the vast majority of people are just getting it

Someone said that in the past week some vocal repug where they work stops ALL conversation with "ALL politicians are corrupt"

No, just the vast majority of the Repug Party in 2005 is corrupt and SPINELESS

9. Well, I heard this comment from a Repuke regarding Delay's indictment
"No crime has been committed. The libruls are abusing the legal system to try to smear a good man"

Propaganda works, especially when your target audience is so stupid and incurious that they don't realize they are watching propaganda, or if they do, they don't care.

12. Over in Politics someone just posted that GMA is doing a tour
of London castles this morning! That's what I'm talking about! Are there not more important things to be talking about? This also reflects on Gore's point about "infotainment" and it's corrosive effect.
