2. Don't count on it.
It has the support of the majority of Senate Republicans. They'll try but I don't think that they'll succeed.

4. Guess which party all nine of those Senators belonged?
And for the record: Kudos to all the Republicans who did support the measure.

Your support shows that you have a spark of humanity.

6. sent this email to my texas representitive
I am going to be paying attention to all our representatives that chose to vote against mccains addition into the military funding to stop the torture. I understand that prior to the war bush and his administration implemented torture into our military in various ways. I watched and listened closely, and I can timeline for you as the administration did this. As we prosecute the few, lowest soldiers for this behavior acting as if we as a nation disapprove yet allow bush to continue with policy of torture thru different methods is total hypocrisy and not in my name. I will not stand as a Christian the torturing of my fellow human beings for any reason. It is not who we are. I want to see if you have the courage to support mccain, a man well versed in the art of torture and the non effectiveness of it. Please vote you conscience, not your party line.

Sincerely,
XXXXXX XXXXX
Amrillo, Texas
