Anyone watching pro-torture advocate David Rivkin on CSPAN WJ?
He was a Reagan era Justice Dept. official who is defending torture. What a dweeb. I'll bet dollars to doughnuts that he's a Chickenhawk. He's blathering on about how there is less prisoner abuse by US soldiers in Iraq than in WWI and WWII. He wants to use a "modicum of stress" during interrogation.
:eyes: Someone should interrogate his sorry ass. :grr:

1. I heard him - he had the talking points down pat
The one caller that talked about impeachment was wonderful. Of course, he didn't talk about that, just talked about 9/11 and the Cole and the connection to this "conflict". I like how they call it a war with one breath and then remind us that we have done the same thing 200 times (conflicts) with no declaration of war in those.

2. He seemed almost giddy about torture. He really likes torture. Sick.
One RW caller really disturbed me. She said there should be no one to torture because in war we should kill all of the enemy. :(
