Does anyone have info about the Fla republican aide who
I heard a story yesterday on AAR that as a republican aide was getting arrested for disorderly conduct, he screamed to the cops that he was an aide to a Democratic candidate... and that they would all lose their jobs for arresting him.

I'm trying to find a link... but I can't find it. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

An allegedly foul-mouthed Florida State football fan arrested after the Boston College game has lost her job with a Florida senator.

Amanda Schweitzer, 25, of Winter Park, Fla., resigned from the office of U.S. Sen. Mel Martinez (R-Florida), the senator's spokesman announced yesterday.

Schweitzer allegedly screamed obscenities at police and reportedly lied about who she worked for after refusing to leave the stadium after BC's 28-17 loss to FSU on Sept. 17.

She admitted to officers that excessive drinking led to her unruly behavior, according to a police report

4. I love it when the someone who does something like this is reported bo
be a Dem and turns out to be a Repub (assuming working for a Repub makes someone a Repub). I want to think more Repubs see it - vv, too, I suppose.

6. Thanks for the link! I like what you wrote there.
By the way, I did use Google to search for the news story when you asked about it in the opening message, but I couldn't find it, though I tried several different combinations of keywords. I'm glad you found it.

7. Makes one wonder if there isn't a pattern here, a culture of deception,
as well as corruption.

I wrote this when I noticed a pattern about the way republicans love to alter the meaning of images:

I have several examples posted, but here is one of the more famous ones:

When your value system is based on fear, rather than empathy, anything is justifiable.
