There is nothing than can stop the fall of the Bush Administration.

Rove - Plame.
Libby - Plame.
Safavian.
Frist and the SEC.
Economy.
Gas prices.
Death and War.
No success in Iraq.
Brownie-FEMA cronyism (more to come).
Joke of a Supreme Court nomination.
His opposition of McCain's no torture bill addition(90-9 vote).
Spy in Cheney's office.
Attempt to use Flu to nationalize military.
More hurricanes coming.
Waiving wage requirements for rebuilding in the gulf while Halliburton cashes in.

And ladies and gentlemen....."God told me to invade Iraq".

Even if Bush makes it to 2008 without impeachment, the whole clan will drag down the republican party for many elections to come.

Feel free to add what I may have missed.

2. You know,
... had we not gone thru the looking glass back during the Clinton Impeachment & Contract on America years, I'd wholeheartedly be with you.

But from the other perspective, look at the enormous list of insanity you have posted and ask yourself WHY THE FUCK ARE THEY STILL IN OFFICE at this very minute ??? If any combination of the things on your list hasn't gotten them all flogged already, I fear it's just never going to happen.

People's bullshit tolerance and apathy is just too ingrained by now.

I fear even once we get rid of Dumya, the entire political process will have been scarred beyond recognition.

Sigh.

3. I once wrote like this when I had about 74 posts.
Welcome to DU. I stopped gleefully prognosticating three years ago.

It would be a couple of books to list the things you missed.

White supremacy will always uphold this guy no matter what he does.

5. There's a big IF involved
IF we can have free and fair elections... then the Republican Party will be reliving 1932 in a short while.

6. My hubby, a repub turned off bush's TV speech.....
I died laughing. (I was hiding in the bathroom of course).

They are dropping little bush like a hot potato for Guiliani. Fox reported Guiliani for president favored by repigs by 64%.

12. only hope
Only hope is if big corporate media turns on them.

They still paint a rosy favorable picture of the whole lot of these "treacherous cretins" (with thanks to Frank Zappa for that phrase)

If they don't start telling the truth soon, there may be a media break-up like Teddy Roosevelt did to corporations.

It is due, but I'm not holding my breath.

9. There are repugs out there
who will never abandon the chimp or the gop. There is still a deep and bitter hatred towards the Left in this country over Nixon's resignation, Vietnam and a host of other issues. The gop is a simmering cauldron of anger. That's not going away. People that support them now do so out of spite or ignorance. But in that respect nothing's changed really.

15. Realistically, how many are there.
I place it between 25% and 35% if you use approval rating as a metric. Once the polls get close to 30% change will become more difficult as the remaining people supporting him are his more ideological supporters.

21. That's very true.
But that's why you see a constant push to drive down voter participation amongst voter groups that aren't clearly leaning gop.

10. This evening's headline: Bush Admits! "I am an imbecile!"
Adds: "The country would have been better off electing a trained seal."

At least a trained seal wouldn't try to think on it's own once in a while, delivering disasters like the Hurricane Katrina response ("Nobody could have foreseen the levies being breeched...") and Harriet Miers.

11. *sigh* If only, if only....
but I recall last October so fondly, when we here at DU were fired with enthusiasm: "IT'S GOING TO BE A KERRY LANDSLIDE!" "NOTHING CAN STOP IT!" Yeah, right. I hate to be pessimistic, but I fear things will have to get much worse before they begin to get better.

17. I don't think I'm being hubris
This list is too damning. No president has survived this much.

True, there will always be core support for Repukes, but this kind of stuff reaches deep into the youth that don't really give a shit yet. They are growing up watching all of this.

To me, it's not about converting the base, it's about mining the complacent.

We don't need everyone, all we need is for things to stay at the current level and they will be fucked long term.

unless the dems take back the house in 2006, * finishes his term unscathed. and the dems aren't taking back the house in 2006.

* & his handlers will ride off into the sunset to the hosannas of their followers. * will have airports, highways, chicken byproduct waste ponds, etc. named after him. he will become the wealthiest ex-president in history. the supreme court will protect him from any & all attempts at justice. critical assessment of his term will be irrelevant, as knowledge, & thought itself has been robbed of value by the GOP's propaganda machine.

once you start walking the road to fascism, only the ruin of the nation ends it. and you could argue we've been walking that road for a very long time.

pray that the EU invades us before we cripple the planet forever.
