Botanical rhetoric is all the rage
It is true that the seeds of freedom have only recently been planted in Iraq but democracy, when it grows, is not a fragile flower. It is a healthy, sturdy tree.

Iraq is worse then Vietnam because of ???????
crickets crickets .....

Iraq is a not a tropical jungle like Vietnam .... so where do the
"bad guys hide?'

they have to be hidden by the local population. And their means "they"
(the other side) has considerable support.

BTW outside of oasis's, mountain tops with snow, and river valleys trees
and Iraq not so much ....

healthy sturdy ones a month ago...are lying with the corpses of Katrina.
The Democracy Tree might be in there somewhere...maybe it's still standing. We haven't been able to get in and see yet.
