Bush gets overwhelming positive response to speech (10/6/05)


U.S. President George W. Bush (R) greets his Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld (L) and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice after he delivered a speech on the war in Iraq and the war on terror at the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington October 6, 2005. Struggling to rebuild American support for the Iraq war, Bush said on Thursday the struggle would require more sacrifice and accused Islamic militants of trying control Iraq as a step toward a radical Islamic empire. Reaganian, Nixonian and Eisenhowerian. It was the greatest speech of his life. It will turn the whole direction of the country. He has regained the swagger that came so easy to him after 9/11. His ratings will skyrocket and once again we will regard him as a god who walks among men.:sarcasm:

made his speech. Notice afterwords, the MSM starts showing all these clips of Iraq. You know they had to pull them and get them ready. All of this was set up to rally his base.... This just sucks...
