8. It's the script-plus CNN said it was the speech he was supposed to read

on Sept 11th, so he's had plenty of time to practice Terror Terror. I did one of these the other day when he actually had no scripted answers because it was a press conference taking questions-the "uhs, ums" show that if he can't read his stuff, he's stuck.

15. It is very noticeable, and a fairly recent development....

I was watching some documentary on Sundance a while ago about Bush and the religious right, and in all the scenes of him speaking, he never ONCE moved his jaw from side to side like that, nor was there the tongue thing going on. I hate to make assumptions about people's drug use, but I've been around a lot of speed freaks and coke heads, and these tics are strangely reminiscent.

I especially appreciate the fact that I didn't have to listen to him speechify.

What is the freepers take on this? At the least it's a new nervous twitch he's picked up (why is he so nervous). At worst it's a side-effect from a drug he's taking or has taken (why is he still president?). Freepers and righties in general would be on this like flies on shit if it was one of ours.

I've been hearing about the "coke jaw" for weeks. I could assume it was a sore tooth or loose dentures but it's clearly so involuntary!

P.S. Someone posted this morning that the applause was piped in because it sounded exactly the same each time. I've got two words for him or her--YOU'RE RIGHT!

16. Great video

You can really concentrate on his face without all that yammering.
His jaw has been wiggling and jerking for years..but what I've noticed in the last few appearances, and most especially in this beautiful video, is that his eyes show NO confidence whatsoever. None. It's a totally different look.

Perhaps he's lost the people that propped up his image of himself.
