WH would like to back up Shrub's story about stopping 3 terror attacks
but unfortunately it's probably classified.

What is the President doing spilling classified info on tv?

2. I thought it was ten?
I thought I read that, anyway. Maybe on CNN?

12. It was ten
But the fact is, I stopped four of them myself singlehandedly.

I could give you details, but then I'd have to kill you. National Security and all. Sorry 'bout that.

But would you like to buy some of this beautiful oceanfront property I have in Florida?

3. Just 3?
Why, I stopped a dozen 9/11-scale attacks before breakfast this morning.

It's classified though, so I can't tell you the details.

7. A comment on this thread
"...they'd like to back up the fact that he said that so they could erase it or they'd like to find out which three he's talking about so they can fabricate a story to go with the story?"

10. And anybody that's dumb enough to buy this
deserves Bush as president. You are telling me they thwarted TERRORIST ATTACKS and didn't use that info last year during the election? As somebody on the news said, it's more Bush's "Trust me." I feel safer just knowing it could have happened without any evidence. In fact, that would be the Bush lover's philopsophy in two words,"Trust him." We are being led by the criminaly insane.

13. I never heard
Morgan Fairchild was involved in a thwarted terror attack? Is THAT what is strapped under her spandex??:bounce:

In all seriousness - * would have had this BS all over the news in 2004 if it were true - it isn't - he knows it, we know it and all that remains to be seen is if the press pushes back on it :wtf:

15. You know what scares me...
... is how desperate the Bush Admin. is to say stuff like this. And it is probably true. The stuff that the FBI and CIA does goes unreported for a good reason. Under Clinton, a lot of stuff was stopped, but they didn't go blabbing about it to the press.

I'm afraid they'll leak stories that could really compromise covert activities; they're idiots, and have done it before!

Wolfowitz blabbed the story about Abu Ali's (suspected mastermind of the October 2000 attack on the USS Cole) assassination via Predator drone to the press. Someone in the admin. blew al-Qaeda double agent Muhammad Naeem Noor Khan's cover and of course, Valerie Plame and all the agents that worked at Brewster Jennings...
