That's what the Bushies do. Whenever there is bad news about one of them, like ROVE today, they flood the news with as much negative info as they can, so the media can't focus on Rove.

Today, they went into their fall-back position they used all during the campaign. When in doubt, up the rainbow connection for a homeland security alert! During the conventions, they went so far as to use information that was two years old to keep protestors out of NYC!

You can just imagine the wheels turning. Gee, what will get news coverage today so poor Karl won't be on the cable channels non-stop? Oh, I've got it --- a raised alert level on the NY Subway at the height of drive-time! Since it happened in London, we can make it sound almost real! That will take the pressure off Rove, and his 4th trip to the Grand Jury.
