Poll question: Seriously...who could possibly be a worse POTUS?
Edited on Sun Oct-09-05 08:11 PM by senseandsensibility
Is there anyone who could exceed chimp's combination of stone cold incompetence, lack of humanity, and greed? Is there anyone who could wreck our country in five short years as he has? I can't think of anyone, but here are some possiblilities to consider:

2. My pinky finger.
I think I would be a better POTUS -- hell, I'm sure any of us would be -- but I believe my pinky finger alone would probably do a worser job.

5. No!
You are selling your pinky short. Your pinky would never declare war on a country for no reason! :)

8. Michael Savage.
Certainly. Like Bush, only without whatever scraps of shame keeps him from outright telling homosexuals to get aids and die.

10. Why Didn't You Put the Obvious Choice?
Cheney. He scares me more than Bush. I *never* want him to be President.

It'd be hard to be worse
But I picked Savage, just to choose one anyhow. Oh jeez, is he terrible.

I know who'd be better:

Just about anyone.

11. I'm not sure, you have to consider
You have to have that rare combination of being bat-shit insane AND being able to get people to go along with you. I would say Santorum except I'm not sure he has the second quality.

14. That's exactly what I was thinking
which is why much more outspokenly evil people probably wouldn't be able to do all the damage one icky little chimp has.

15. Actually, having met him.
Rick Santorum is very convincing and personable, he's just batshit crazy.

He's the sort of person that you'd want as a neighbor, golf partner, etc. just not making any sort of decision on your behalf. I met him with the mindset that I was going to be brutal and realized after about 5 minutes that even if he was the incarnation of evil, I couldn't help liking him as a person. (I now know how he gets re-elected)

I wrote hm a bunch of letters on the USA PATRIOT Act (on the behalf of the ACLU) and got myself invited to a constituent/"meet the senator" thingie. I had a discussion with him about the PATRIOT ACT and he was involved, listened, responded thoughtfully...the only problem is that you can't intellectually deviate him from his "facts" no matter how many times you prove that they're "talking out your ass" stupid. As someone that moves a lot, i can say he's the best Senator I've had in terms of being available to his constituents, even if his beliefs scare the f out of me.

12. I can think of a lot of worse people.
Chuck Manson tops the list. But the insanity would be amusing from a safe distance.
Britney Spears. But she's cute.
Dennis Miller. But the trivia nut in me would find him funny.

16. How about Tom Tancredo
Congressman Tancredo, R-CO suggested that if the US were attacked again by Islamic terrorists the US response should be to nuke Mecca. While I think the current administration is the worst of my lifetime and probably the worst in U.S. history so far, I would fear that a Tancredo Administration might be the last Administration in U.S. history.

but remembered that as bad as Mr. Suhayda could be, Bush would be infinitely worse.
