Bush Job Approval Near All-Time Low at Rasmussen
Edited on Mon Oct-10-05 08:05 AM by louis c
Let me preface my remarks by saying that I, too, distrust Rasmussen numbers. I know they are tilted toward President Asshole.

However, Scott Rasmussen still has to make a living, and his numbers have to at least resemble the rest of the polls, or he's flipping burgers to make ends meet.

Realizing he tries to put Bush in the most favorable light possible, when the Commander-in-Chump falls with his buddy, Scott, the ship is taking on water and listing dangerously.

On the holiday to celebrate our great Italian hero, Columbus, Bush's numbers are at close to an all-time low with Rasmussen.

44% of Americans still can't find the land, and 54% have discovered what an asshole we have in charge of this great nation.

And I agree, in reality, President Asshole's numbers are much worse.

1. I Don't Think He Does Any Polling At All
I believe he looks at the other polls and adds four or five points...

2. You could be correct
but when Bush goes bad there, he's really in trouble.

6. I think he has just become a lameduck already
look at the showdown via the senate - with bush threatening his first veto in five years - (because he LIKES torture - and doesn't want the senate to end the use of said practices against military prisoners and detainees); the sudden outburst of in the public GOP resistance to his crony SC nomination; The writing is on the wall... bushco is in trouble and other repubs and their fellow travellers in the pundocracy know either they distance themselves from Bush - or his unpopularity underminds the whole GOP and its fawning media crew.

5. There may be an election
for control of congress in 2006.

At least, that's what I've heard.

His poll numbers and job performance could have some affect on that outcome.

10. I'll say this much for Rass
This polling was more accurate in 2004 than it was in 2000 (he was way off that year), and infact, was more accurate in '04 than Zogby turned out to be.

14. Rasmussen
is pro-Bush.

He is comparing his numbers to his previous numbers.

Relatively speaking, he is reluctantly admitting that president Asshole's numbers are about as bad as they can be.

Even his buddy scott has him at a minus 10 and sinking fast.
