Planning Ahead for Fitzgerald: Can DU consolidate these
threads somehow? I am sitting here at my keyboard and am just envisioning ( salivating !!!) the day, hopefully in the not too distant future, when we start seeing lots and lots of threads with LOTS AND LOTS OF EXCITED CAPITAL LETTERS!!!!!!! can we plan ahead or is this wishful thinking?

1. I have a feeling that's going to happen no matter what.
Kinda the nature of having a free-for-all message board is that when major developments happen, there will be lots of excited dupe threads. Hell, we had that just for the rumors last week.

2. Bring 'Em On
I don't care how many excited dupe threads there are. I plan to read, and enjoy them all!

I have said from the beginning, often, that Plame would be the reason W didn't finish his second term. Lotsa wishful thinking....yes....but boy do I have a big "I Told You So" coming if I was right.

And I can hardly wait!

3. We'll have to wait a little while
I believe the Grand Jury expires on 10/28. I think Fitzgerald will run this to the end.
November is such a beautiful month!

4. And when it happens...
(it MUST happen) that will be my Christmas gift. Last Christmas, during a political discussion, I apologized to my children and grandchildren for the world I was leaving to them. I was ashamed. Hopefully, this year, I will be able to say I think we are on the way to straightening out the mess and make the world all better.

5. cleaning up our mess
...and we were off to such a great start too!
After Nixon, we really had a chance to bring on a better way to govern. We let the radical right bully the politicians into the mess we have now. Anyone or any group who aspouses less freedom is essentially the true "unamerican". It's in our DNA, we are free, fair, and just people. Obviously we have not been represented very well on those merits.
The current mess is our darkest moment as a country. May we be sincere and strong in correcting our mistake.
