We don't know what will happen in 08
But one thing is for certain...

If McCain and Hillary go head to head in 2008, no matter what, we will get a President that the 'christian' Right absolutely hates.

1. From the looks of things
Most here will dislike one and loathe the other as well.

2. According to the Freepers,
THAT match up is their worst nightmare, but I think it will be so. Many, many are saying they will stay home. If that is so, we may be looking at another President Clinton. Although I am not one of her biggest fans (voted for her for Senator), we could do a LOT WORSE.

3. Except McCain weighed in FOR Intelligent Design, so he's been mending
fences with the neanderthal crowd.

I don't believe any freeptype would hate McCain half as much as they do Clintons. They WON'T stay home.

The media will be pushing McCain harder than they were lifting Bush. even.

4. If McCain cow tows to the religious right vote,
he will LOSE the Independent vote. THAT is his greatest strength. Then there is all the ass kissing he did for Bush in the last election after Bush smeared him.

The man has no SCRUPLES. I am an Independent. After the way McCain has behaved, and if what you say is true, I have no respect for the man at all. I will vote for Hillary, as much as I am disappointed in her these days.

5. McCain is working Cali for Arnold
He has some real strategic problems. As a former follower of McCain I now find him despicable.

6. We can't wait for 2008 - Impeach Bush now
The US will not exist if Bush is allowed to finish his term.
