We need to write/e-mail prominent Democrats to oppose Schwarzenegger's
ballot measures! John McCain is already here campaigning for Schwarzenegger's union-busting measures. We need to get somebody like John Kerry, Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, etc. to come out to California and help defeat these measures!

1. Easier than that

just have the Gropenfuher invite the shrub to campaign FOR the
measures... there is no f'ing way that they could pass.

2. more importantly IMO
is that Schwarzenneger may veto a measure passed that would mandate a paper trail on election voting equipment here in California.

3. McCain in OH campaigning for Blackwell; now this. Amazing.

Even Bush was smart enough to handle CA politics pre-2000. He opposed prop 187 out there, which scored some points. McCain is running into the arms of the very worst elements of the GOP -- Blackwells vote fixing Ohio antics combined with religious extremism plus Arnie's attempt to screw CA. I think McCain has lost his touch and will appear to be what he is most of the time, a Republican hack.
