Why does the * Rub Heads?!


Does it make him feel like God or Superman?

I saw that picture of him rubbing that little boy's head today and I hit the ceiling! That is CHILD ABUSE!

Does the booze make him do it?

The coke?


His lack of love from his Mama?


It drives me crazy.

47. That's what I think too...
1) Bush is a control freak and demeaning others helps for him to maintain that control. Schoolyard bullies pull this stunt on the playground; always bringing up a physical difference in a condescending way.

2) Also the reason for his incessant need to give out nicknames. It seems you don't have a name until Bush gives you one. Again, usually demeaning but meant to make it clear who's in charge. Both one and two are closely related...

I hate it when the Corporate Media points to these two anti-social traits as "folksy."

Yep, still here. Nope, don't know yet.

I'm just trying to survive. I hope to go back to New Orleans soon to see if I can retrieve some Winter clothes. I've heard that my neighborhood faired batter than others. I gotta get back there before it rains again because I'm worried that the roof of my house may be damaged.

14. Weird...
I know he does it, and it's weird, but I have no idea why he does it. He's a very, very strange, scary, abnormal person. Why is he the president? I mean, other than the SCOTUS and Diebold, why isn't this guy locked up someplace? Why are we allowing him to continue destroying our country?

I have to walk with a cane, and I live below poverty level, so there's not a hell of a lot I can do myself, except to vote, and hope my vote is properly counted, and do without a few things so that I can donate to a few liberal causes, but otherwise, WHY are these people still in office?

I might add that I'm a 5th generation Texan, and when this idiot goes around playing cowboy, it's more embarrassing than I can tell you. The only explanation for him being still in power is some powerful drug that was introduced into the public water systems, or the air, or SOMETHING, because he's so painfully inadequate to even quality as a sanitation engineer (trash collector) it's not even funny.

I can see that he is withdrawing energy. I have been around the mystic a lot -- in many of its forms -- and I have seen both good and EVIL.

at least i think so.

he gave a speech to a group of returning soldiers. he did his little speech, then came down off the podium to shake hands with the soldiers behind a barrier. the first guy he approached was a short, balding, middle aged guy up against the barrier, with his hand extended.

bush approached, then instead of shaking the guys hand, bush rubbed his head, then moved down the line shaking hands.

i may be wrong, i was walking by the tv when i saw it.

i wish i had the means to find the video. i saw it on msnbc.

24. I had this big ol yellow lab
and he was always putting his paw on me whenever I went to pet him. I couldn't figure it out because he wasn't trying to shake hands, just lay his paw on me. A dog trainer told me that was his way of dominating me. He ran alot of my nylons by doing that and I wanted it to stop so the trainer told me to put my hand firmly on his head when he did it. The behavior stopped. I think this is George's way of dominating just like a big ol yellow dog.

30. It is a form of bullying - as is the "nicknames". George W. Bush violates
normal personal distance boundaries as a way of controlling others. It is amazing to me that people seem to find this "charming" and it hasn't gotten him into any trouble thus far. I suspect that it something to do with the fact that he is a Mama's boy, yes. Bullies are often Mama's boys.

Whether or not rubbing heads is intended to be offensive depends on the situation. I do it to friends and acquaintances occasionally as a friendly gesture, and it's barely a conscious action.

Bush, on the other hand, could very well be doing it as some screwed-up form of dominance.
