I'm talking about Iran-Contra and Ollie North, Poindexter, Abrams, Reagan, etc. compared to this "Leak". To me both are "High Treason" but all of the above are treated as heroes. Iran had declared war on America and these Traitors sold them weapons. High Treason. Outing a CIA Operative who dealt with Terrorists aquiring WMD. High Treason. How can these Traitors keep getting away with this shit? IMHO they should be given life imprisonment.

1. Kinda sorta.

They should all be placed in the old-style zoo cages (the ones with the big iron bars) at the National Zoo where visitors can hurl peanuts at their pointly little heads.

2. I have a question about the Right's "Clinton sold technology
to xxx". What exactly was Clinton supposed to have sold?

We don't make too much in this country any more. Most of the technological advances seem to emenate (sp?) from Japan, where the newest "in thing" starts.

And isn't most of the stuff used made in Taiwan or some third-world country?

3. Clinton sold nothing to China
Edited on Thu Oct-09-03 12:23 PM by Bandit
What he did do was continue a waiver granted by the Reagan Adminstration to the Lorell Group for Rocket technology transfer to China. The Chinese were having a hard time getting their rockets into space in one piece and American businesses, especially Lorell Group were using the Chinese to put their satellites into orbit since NASA wasn't at that time allowing private satellites on their rockets. Because of this technology transfer China could now target the USA with their ICBMs more accurately. Reagan issued the first waiver and Clinton just re-newed the waiver.

4. Only if a Democrat does it.
Republicans can do it at will because they are defending the country against terrorism.

I also believe in the tooth ferry, santa claus and pixie dust.
