What will Sensenbrenner do?
Edited on Wed Oct-12-05 09:04 AM by paineinthearse
Congress has executive oversight obligations. We know what Rep. John Conyers would do if Dems controlled the House and he were chair, rather than ranking member, of the House Judiciary committee.

"...The judicial system and the Special Prosecutor must play their respective roles in this matter, free from politics. After that, the Congress must exercise its oversight responsibilities over the Justice Department's handling of this matter and its constituional responsibilities. The public, too, is owed a full accounting of the Administration's conduct in this scandal..."

The question is, what will Sensenbrenner do now that it looks like indictments against Libby, Rove and more are in the wings? Will he continue to stonewall his Constitutional obligation?

2. Yes he will.
He will do everything he can to stonewall, stall, obsfucate, minimize an investigation.

He thinks he is in a safe district and can get away with it.

He may be in for a rude, rude shock from Bryan Kennedy.

4. There will be no impeachments from Congress
Due to the mafia-like nature of the republicans in power...

Remember, it's the "Culture of Corruption"

5. Sensenbrenner's a Bush tool -- among the worst. He won't do
anything. His district needs to get rid of him. One can only hope.
