WASHINGTON — Focus on the Family founder James Dobson's special radio broadcast today did not end the controversy over what the White House told him about Harriet Miers before her nomination to Supreme Court.
One critic charged that the Dobson's statement "does not pass the sniff test." Meanwhile, U.S. Senators were dissecting remarks by the evangelical leader and deciding whether to call him to testify under oath before the Judiciary Committee.
Michael Huttner, executive director of the Colorado-based liberal group ProgressNow.Org, questioned Dobson's explanation because much of the information was already public or irrelevant to Miers' qualifications before Dobson endorsed her, citing "some of the things that I know that I probably shouldn't know."
"We believe James Dobson may have additional information that he has not shared, and that his explanation regarding the information he has does not pass the sniff test," Huttner said. "The Senate Judiciary Committee should call James Dobson to testify under oath."

Dobson is still hiding the facts about his discussion with KKKarl. They both must be subpoened.

http://www.liberaloasis.com/archives/100905.htm#101205I bring this up again today because I see too many people taking Dobson's explanation from this morning at face value. The same excuses he gave today for what he "shouldn't know" were happily discussed in his original FAUX News interview. I know it is difficult to follow, because it is so circular, but the man has been caught either outright lying, or being so stupid or so absent minded as to no longer be relevant.
