Bowling For Columbine
October 18, 19
Exploring the root of fear and violence existing in today's culture, activist filmmaker Michael Moore exmaines the affects of this nations widespread gun ownership while getting to the bottom of the Columbine High School and Flint, Michigan shootings: even if that means confronting the powerful political and corporate elites with a bit a controversy along the way.

Bowling for Columbine is a fascinating insight into America's obsession with guns, violence and fear by outspoken, acclaimed filmmaker Michael Moore (Roger & Me). Moore mixes footage, outrageous animation and candid interviews with everyone from the NRA's Charlton Heston to shock-rocker Marilyn Manson in this "brilliant" (New York Post) tour de force of documentary filmmaking.

As the first documentary accepted into the prestigious Cannes Film Festival competition in 2002, Bowling for Columbine was also honored with a special 55th Anniversary Prize, an award created specifically for this film, and went on to win many other awards, including the Academy Award® for Best Documentary Feature.
