4. No, it is for all people who support a consolidation of
power to rejuvenate the nation and the world, with a focus on the AA people. It IS geared towards minority groups, but Farrakhan has extended an invitation to all who would support such an agenda. We do need to join this march and lend our support. I want to see something grow that is an extension of MLKs work--something to boost the poor and disenfranchised and give a voice to their grievances. To serve as a catalyst for power from the grassroots.

Here is the page that describing what they want to do:

BTW, the genesis of this march came from one of Tavis Smiley's forums.

5. I went there. Thanks for the link
I find myself often wanting very much to disagree with Farrakhan a lot more because there are some things he proposes that are just way out of my 'box' but he makes a lot of sense about a lot of things.

I personally believe slave reparations should be a given. It isn't like we don't have the money, and we could get it over with and move on. I have ancestors who owned slaves. I have no problem with a tax hit for a few years to absolve that debt. Now, I am not sure of the wisdom of just handing out cash. But I certainly would think a fund for free education, house downpayments, etc. We could have done this with the money we spent in Iraq.

My opinion...I know this is flamebait!
