I almost felt bad for the corpulent, balding little nebbish. The reporters were just laughing at him by the end of it. I guess I feel sympathy for him because it would be pretty hard to come up with any defense for this administration's actions, which he couldn't.
Maybe a glass of beaujolais and a visit from Jeff Gannon/Gluckert will calm his nerves.

Olbermann was the ONLY TV journalist to speak up for the "questionable" 2004 election. He's a worthy successor to his hero Murrow.

20 minutes and change into the KO show and it is one of the greatest things I have ever seen. KO is calling the Scotty press conference and the scripted abortion with the troops "twin trainwrecks." The Press Corps has finally grown some balls and now they are turning every Scotty conference into a mockery. Scotty is now waging faux attacks on the press and they are laughing at him. I know this is not news to most DUers who are much more positive than me, but watching Tweety and KO tonight...it just hit me...they are all cooked. Tweety said he has never seen so many high level operators under prosecution in all of his years...and KO is killing *. The house of cards is about to fall...the Makers and Coke is telling me that tonight, folks...book it.

That was the coup de grace...did anyone hear that from the back of the peanut gallery at the end of the press conference? Fucking hilarious.
