When bush (again) touts the election in Iraq, remember his OWN WORDS...
Edited on Thu Oct-13-05 11:53 PM by LynnTheDem
"You cannot hold free and fair elections under foreign military occupation".

GEORGE W. BUSH, 2005

Yes, he really did say that...only he was talking about Lebanon. Any wonder the world views America (and bush in particular) as the most dishonest hypocrites on the planet?

1. An excellent point; unfortunately, I think that too will blow over the
heads of most people. Although there does seem to be somewhat of an awakening by the 'Murkin Publick that the BushCo Whores are not quite as nifty as they once thought...
But it's a shame that some of them think he's rotten because he's not far enough to the Reich...truly frightening.

3. Another double entendre quote from Bush
I cut this one out from somewhere and it's now on my refrigerator:

"The Iranian people deserve a genuinely democratic system," President Bush said in a statement. "Today Iran is ruled by men who suppress liberty at home and spread terror across the world. Power is in the hands of an unelected few who have retained power through an electoral process that ignores the basic requirements of democracy."

I love the irony.

8. LynnTheDem, remember when Media used to cover such things?
Bush almost never gets confronted with

"On such and such a date, you said 'yada yada yada,' but yesterday you said 'never yada yada yada.' Which is it?"

11. Yeppers, and being Canadian-born, having spent a decade+ in Europe
and now stuck in Texas, oh yeah I can sure see why the entire world says one thing & America all by its lonesome says the opposite. No surprise at all why such a total disconnect in this country.

13. The tail is wagging the dog now ...
Bush and the right being the tail. They lack any sense of how the world sees them. All this big talk and struting doesn't work.

12. For instance:
On such and such a date, Bush said we'd get bin Laden dead or alive, and on later such and such a date he said he wasn't really too concerned with where bin Laden was.

Even Nixon in his most delusional states was never so pathetic.
