Parents Sell Ad Space On Baby's Head

Parents of an 8-month-old baby in Nashville, Tenn., are selling advertising space on their baby's head to help pay for an operation the child may face.

Ann Saylor said her son, Brendan, has a flat spot on his head and doctors said there is a chance that it could cause the boy's brain to expand outwards rather than in the normal circular direction.


Saylor said Brendan wears a $3,000 helmet to help correct the plagiocephaly condition.

The helmet is the first corrective step but the child may still face a surgical procedure that could cost up to $50,000.
